Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain cloud environments to support software development and data analysis.
- Implement security controls to meet federal standards and client requirements.
- Lead the DevOps lifecycle by defining best practices and creating automation tools.
- Monitor application uptime and reliability, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Assist application teams with CI/CD best practices and conduct security reviews.
- Participate in feature development discussions and prioritize work effectively.
Skills
- Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Skilled in Kubernetes cluster management, preferably AWS EKS.
- Proficient in managing source code repositories and CI/CD runners.
- Familiarity with security accreditation processes for frameworks like FedRamp.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in Eastern Time business hours.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in backend development with FastAPI.
- Knowledge of Postgres databases through AWS Aurora or RDS.
- Ability to optimize cloud provider spend and reduce unnecessary infrastructure usage.
- Successful leadership in security framework audits, especially federal audits.
