This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a technical lead in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Train, fine-tune, and assess deep learning models with a focus on transformer architectures.
- Process and analyze extensive text datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Identify and resolve issues with model behavior, parameters, and training processes.
- Conduct experiments and meticulously document outcomes to track progress.
- Deploy models within an AWS environment using established tools and procedures.
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, particularly with PyTorch and Transformer libraries.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting deep learning models for text analysis.
- Strong foundation in statistics, exploratory data analysis, and machine learning principles.
- Ability to effectively use AWS and GitHub-based workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and capability to work autonomously.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with large language models and prompt-based methodologies.
- Experience with PySpark or large-scale ETL processes for text data.
- Knowledge of experiment tracking and MLOps tools.
- Background in healthcare or analysis of medical texts is advantageous.
