Join our team as a Data Scientist and contribute to the exciting field of medical document analysis by developing and maintaining deep learning models. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a technical lead in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Train, fine-tune, and assess deep learning models with a focus on transformer architectures.
• Process and analyze extensive text datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Identify and resolve issues with model behavior, parameters, and training processes.
• Conduct experiments and meticulously document outcomes to track progress.
• Deploy models within an AWS environment using established tools and procedures.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, particularly with PyTorch and Transformer libraries.
• Experience in developing and troubleshooting deep learning models for text analysis.
• Strong foundation in statistics, exploratory data analysis, and machine learning principles.
• Ability to effectively use AWS and GitHub-based workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to work autonomously.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with large language models and prompt-based methodologies.
• Experience with PySpark or large-scale ETL processes for text data.
• Knowledge of experiment tracking and MLOps tools.
• Background in healthcare or analysis of medical texts is advantageous.
