Responsibilities
- Drive the evolution of design systems, focusing on usability and accessibility improvements.
- Create and document reusable components and patterns in Figma, ensuring alignment with coding standards.
- Maintain governance processes to uphold the integrity and quality of design systems across products.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to introduce new design system capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to support system adoption.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven tools to enhance design workflow efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends to continuously refine design system processes.
Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and maintaining large-scale design systems.
- Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, tokens, and responsive design principles.
- Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to effectively articulate design decisions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience applying AI tools to enhance design processes.
- Familiarity with design system governance and lifecycle management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in agile environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing system-level thinking and documentation at scale.
