Responsibilities
- Prepare and review SOX compliant working papers across various accounting areas, including payroll and bonuses.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on accounting best practices and documentation standards.
- Manage end-to-end processes for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal standards.
- Assist in standardizing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and consistency across functions.
- Collaborate with global accounting teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives related to assigned business areas.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA certification.
- Approximately 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including review and coaching responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Technical experience with NetSuite and other accounting software.
- Experience with compensation-related entries in a public company environment.
- Familiarity with Blackline and Coupa systems.
