JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Backend Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing robust systems and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement application architectures with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain backend systems, ensuring high-quality code through rigorous testing.
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and support services deployment in cloud environments.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with frameworks like Micronaut or Spring Boot.
  • Strong experience in backend software development in large-scale settings.
  • Solid understanding of Apache Kafka and stream processing.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and test-driven development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and advanced architectural patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git-based workflows.
  • Experience in building automated end-to-end test suites for enterprise applications.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools.
