|Job ID 72595|Posted Nov 21, 2025Are you ready to lead the charge in healthcare data exchange? We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner to spearhead our CMS Interoperability initiatives, combining regulatory expertise with agile product management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and define the product vision and roadmap for CMS interoperability projects.
- Act as the subject matter expert on CMS interoperability regulations and Patient Access APIs.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product features and user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and compliance teams to deliver solutions that meet CMS mandates and FHIR standards.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and drive product adoption.
- Stay updated on CMS guidance and industry standards to proactively adapt product strategies.
- Partner with program management to oversee release planning and regulatory timelines.
- Provide training and thought leadership on interoperability and data sharing best practices.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in product management within healthcare technology.
- Expertise in CMS interoperability, especially with FHIR-based APIs and data exchange.
- Strong grasp of healthcare data standards such as HL7, X12, CDA, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience working with EHRs, payer systems, or health information exchanges.
- Proficient leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in agile environments.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies, such as CSPO or SAFe PO/PM.
- Experience working with CMS, payers, or providers on regulatory compliance projects.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, API management tools, and data security frameworks.
