We are seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced corporate accounting environment while working collaboratively with a talented group of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare accounting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, supporting compliance with SOX controls.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on documentation and accounting best practices.
- Standardize processes and documentation across accounting functions to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with global accounting teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives related to assigned business areas.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA certification is required.
- Approximately 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on review and coaching responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and systems like Leasequery and Netsuite.
- Familiarity with debt accounting and capitalized software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Blackline.
