|Job ID 72549|Posted Nov 18, 2025We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key accounting processes while working in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Review working papers prepared by junior team members across various accounting functions.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring compliance with SOX controls.
- Coach and mentor junior staff on documentation standards and accounting best practices.
- Oversee end-to-end processes for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives as needed.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA certification.
- Approximately 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including review and coaching responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
- Expertise in ASC 842 lease accounting and experience with relevant accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with debt accounting and capitalized software.
- Familiarity with systems such as Leasequery, Coupa, and Blackline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
