JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and enhance current HR applications focusing on employee scheduling and location management.
  • Streamline and automate workflows to improve efficiency using AWS-native technologies.
  • Design and develop robust data pipelines to support HR operations and analytics.
  • Maintain data models and ETL processes to ensure data quality and security.
  • Collaborate with HR and technical teams to deliver effective data-driven solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS tools to integrate system improvements.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over six years of experience in data engineering or backend development.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and pipeline creation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, and Lambda.
  • Strong skills in data modeling, schema design, and workflow automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with HR or workforce management systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based workflow optimization and cost reduction strategies.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
