JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Engineer, where you'll lead the charge in transforming radiology data into actionable insights using cutting-edge technology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a robust data warehouse and analytics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a comprehensive data warehouse and analytics environment using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate institutional and radiology data sources.
  • Create and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and curation.
  • Develop scalable cloud data architectures in line with security frameworks and institutional standards.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven solutions and support AI initiatives.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, including Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, and Power BI integration.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional/star schema and semantic model design.
  • Expertise in advanced SQL/T-SQL for complex data transformations and query optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data automation and integration.
  • Experience in metadata management, data lineage, and governance.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD principles using tools like Git, Azure DevOps, or Terraform.
  • Experience working with clinical, imaging, or research data in a healthcare setting.
  • Awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in healthcare, such as HIPAA.
  • Data engineering or cloud certifications.
