JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to analyze healthcare-related data and contribute to impactful business decisions within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze healthcare data to support business decision-making and federal reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards utilizing SQL and BI tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
  • Perform data profiling and validation to identify anomalies.
  • Document data processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Provide regular project updates and maintain strong communication with customers.
  • Mentor junior team members and offer technical training as needed.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare business analysis with a focus on data analysis.
  • Proficient in SQL development, including performance tuning.
  • Experience working with State Medicaid and CHIP agencies on federal reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in developing quality metrics such as HEDIS or similar measures.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to quickly acquire business domain knowledge in healthcare-related systems.
