We are seeking an experienced Back-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to design and optimize services that power our API-driven applications while collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop back-end services and APIs using JVM languages, primarily Java and Kotlin.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures that integrate seamlessly with external platforms.
• Develop and optimize REST APIs and data integrations with Google BigQuery and GCP services.
• Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Ensure systems are secure, high-performing, and maintainable through best practices in code and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed back-end systems.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Kotlin and SpringBoot.
• Deep knowledge of API development and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and modern back-end frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Proficiency in Scala and Python.
• Understanding of NoSQL and data modeling for large-scale analytics.
