JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Sr. Liferay Developer to join our team on a remote basis. This role involves developing and maintaining web applications using Liferay and Java technologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Liferay portlet applications, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with end users to schedule migrations, identify features, and provide bug fixes.
  • Create and manage Liferay Portal themes, utilizing UI technologies to align with design mock-ups.
  • Engage in the design and development of portal applications using various portlet frameworks.
  • Leverage Amazon Cloud Services to enhance application functionality.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in developing, administering, and upgrading Liferay Portals.
  • Strong understanding of n-tier web applications and related infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Solid knowledge of Java and Springboot for server-side programming.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to visualize and build systems effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with DBMS technologies like DynamoDB and MySQL.
  • Experience with caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcached.
  • Knowledge of server management using Nginx or Apache on Linux.
  • Basic design skills, including UI/UX and prototype design.
