JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as an AML Analyst, where you'll gain valuable experience in anti-money laundering practices while collaborating across departments in a hybrid work environment. This entry-level role offers foundational exposure and growth opportunities in the Financial Crimes Compliance sector.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate alerts and analyze suspicious activities to ensure compliance with transaction monitoring protocols.
  • Conduct sanctions screenings for customers and transactions, escalating confirmed matches as necessary.
  • Perform name searches in response to information-sharing requests, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Maintain detailed case files and assist in drafting reports for compliance reviews and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve escalations and provide compliance guidance.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous internship experience or coursework in AML, compliance, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LexisNexis and Finscan.
  • Experience managing large data sets efficiently.
