JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize software solutions for diverse applications and databases.
  • Work closely with product owners to develop creative solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Evaluate technical requirements and create solutions to fulfill those needs.
  • Engage in peer code reviews and promote best coding practices.
  • Support various phases by addressing bugs and troubleshooting issues.
  • Guide junior developers and contribute to the technology roadmap.
  • Participate in continuous development practices, including unit test creation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, AWS Cloud, and full-stack development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience with Git, including merging and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Apache Spark and optimizing AWS Glue jobs.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Proficiency with Terraform and CDK for AWS cloud deployment.
  • Understanding of API infrastructure and development tools.
