Responsibilities

• Review and refine working papers prepared by team members, focusing on commissions, payroll, leases, accruals, and allocations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls during month and quarter-end close processes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices and documentation standards.
• Oversee end-to-end processes for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Assist in standardizing processes to enhance efficiency and consistency across accounting functions.
• Collaborate with finance teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA certification.
• Over 10 years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on review and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Expertise in ASC 842 Leasing and ASC 340-40 Commissions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Blackline, and Netsuite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Leasequery for lease accounting.
• Familiarity with Xactly CEA for commissions accounting.
