Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance policies to support various data domains.
• Lead the implementation of the data governance program using cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Purview and Databrick Unity Catalog.
• Communicate and enforce data governance policies across the organization, providing necessary training and guidance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business units to address analytical needs and ensure data consistency and quality.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the data governance program, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data governance, data quality, or data management roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence organizational change.
• Proficient in analytical problem-solving to resolve data issues effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with project management tools in Agile environments, particularly within the Microsoft Azure stack.
• Familiarity with Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, and Profisee.
• Experience collaborating with offshore contractor resources.
• Ability to present data insights to C-level stakeholders.
