JOB DESCRIPTION

Join us as a Senior Middleware Application Server Engineer and play a crucial role in engineering and automating middleware products. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and automate middleware products to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of WebSphere Application Server.
  • Develop and implement high availability configurations and enterprise repositories.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of WebSphere Liberty across virtual machines and container platforms.
  • Create and manage automation scripts using Ansible, enhancing workflow processes.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment to design and implement application server architectures.
  • Ensure security protocols are upheld, particularly in certificate management.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Liberty.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell script, Python, PowerShell, and Java.
  • Experience with automation tools, particularly Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ability to design and implement server architecture and patterns.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other middleware products like Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, and NGINX.
  • Workflow management experience is advantageous.
