Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing solutions for UI and API layers to improve product quality.
• Develop and maintain a robust test automation framework using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies and testing methodologies.
• Conduct code inspections and suggest improvements to existing testing processes.
• Execute performance and functional testing to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Integrate testing processes into the CI/CD pipeline for seamless software updates.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Solid understanding of API testing and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and container orchestration tools like Docker.
• Experience in non-functional testing including performance and security testing.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
• Understanding of infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or Chef.
