What You'll Do
- Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division, department, and class.
- Create preseason sales, gross margin and inventory plans by division and department that support product strategies
- Reconcile top down to bottom-up division/department plans
- Reforecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles and style colors to meet department financial goals
- Communicate financial results to manager and cross functional team on a weekly basis and determine in season pricing actions.
- Support Monthly Open to Buy Forecasting by reconciling receipts, and working through a financial forecast with action plans to support path to financial targets.
- Support roll out and communication to cross functional team members of new Inventory Strategy Initiatives for Total Banana Republic Japan
Who You Are
- 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong Excel and technical skills
- Must be system savvy and a quick learner
- Must demonstrate strong executive presence and ability to story tell with a growth mindset
- Believe in the Power of Team; builds constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
- Possess strong business acumen and strategic agility, able to handle many projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing workload
- Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and directions that rally others to action
- Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
- Experienced in building and maintaining item-level forecasts, identifying trends and risks to support agile business decisions
