Join our team as a FinOps Analyst where you'll leverage your expertise in financial analysis and cloud FinOps to drive impactful decision-making and cost optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud spending patterns and provide insightful reports on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic discount commitments and resource optimization.
• Collaborate with Finance and Engineering teams to create accurate technology spending forecasts and budgets.
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and KPIs to enhance cloud cost transparency.
• Establish and enforce FinOps governance and controls across the organization.
• Communicate technical metrics and business insights effectively to senior leadership.
• Innovate and solve business challenges using automation and cloud engineering best practices.

Skills

• Proven experience in financial analysis within a technology department.
• Expertise in Cloud FinOps with a strong understanding of AWS and Azure platforms.
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Azure Cost Management.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with additional cloud cost management tools such as Cloudability and Apptio.
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments.
• Comfortable presenting to and communicating with senior leadership.
• Programming skills, particularly in Python.
• FinOps Practitioner Certification or AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies.
