JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Logistics Analyst II and play a crucial role in managing government-owned property records, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with various departments to maintain efficient operations. Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive records of government-owned property, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external reports related to government property management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure proper control and documentation of government property.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories and audits to ensure accurate tracking of assets.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and manage excess government property.
  • Facilitate the disposal of surplus government materials and equipment in coordination with relevant officers.
  • Provide regular updates on work status and maintain accurate records of property life cycle events.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of FAR and DFARS regulations related to government property management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for preparing reports and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in decision-making processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PIEE (GFP Module and IUID Registry) is an advantage.
  • Membership in the National Property Management Association (NPMA) and certification as a Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a defense contracting environment is beneficial.
