JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as an IP/MPLS Network Engineer, where you'll be the go-to expert for designing and implementing wide area networks. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects and ensure the stability and security of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive communication solutions.
  • Create detailed network design documents, scripts, and operational support materials.
  • Integrate WAN with data center support teams and manage IP routing and connectivity.
  • Coordinate firewall change requests and ensure secure communication protocols.
  • Support network operations and field technicians during change implementations.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to enhance network security.
  • Provide technical support and data collection during cyber incidents.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations for new network infrastructure deployments.

Skills

  • Proficient understanding of MPLS, BGP, ISIS, L3VPNs, and traffic engineering.
  • Strong experience with Nokia 7750 and 7705 router platforms.
  • Ability to work with service providers for various connectivity solutions.
  • Familiarity with TCP/UDP protocols and firewall configurations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with network industry devops tools and REST APIs.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets for problem-solving.
  • Experience using workflow or issue-tracking tools like JIRA.
