JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, where you'll leverage cutting-edge technology to drive impactful data solutions. This remote role offers the opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract period, allowing you to grow and innovate within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end-user support systems using Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure/Synapse.
  • Evaluate user requests to determine feasibility and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Create and document reusable Business Intelligence objects and templates.
  • Develop the business semantic layer for enhanced end-user interaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years in an IT environment, with 5 years in BI applications.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL querying, and Microsoft Fabric technology stack.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in information security management.
  • Familiarity with data mining, data warehousing, and database access tools.
  • Understanding of application development tools and logical data modeling.
  • Technical troubleshooting expertise and knowledge of IT standards and policies.
