Responsibilities
- Develop commercially viable product designs that align with business strategies, focusing on style, color, fit, and fabric.
- Research and interpret fashion trends to ensure the integrity of product lines is maintained.
- Create seasonal products with a strong emphasis on style and detail, adapting designs based on feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present designs to internal leaders and key partners.
- Execute design sketches and provide detailed specifications for production processes.
- Inspire and manage junior design talent, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- Over 3 years of design experience within a retail environment.
- Proficiency in creating original design sketches and successful product lines.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Centric is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of fit, construction, and fabric design.
- Ability to motivate and develop talent within the team effectively.
- Flexible and creative in problem-solving approaches.
