JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust backend systems. If you are passionate about technology and eager to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize backend systems using Java, Kotlin, and JVM-based technologies.
  • Create and maintain REST APIs to support application functionality.
  • Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot and Quarkus for efficient development.
  • Implement best practices for version control and CI/CD using Git and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance software solutions.
  • Ensure the application adheres to 12-factor app principles for scalability and performance.
  • Engage in continuous learning and apply emerging technologies to improve systems.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases and Apache Kafka.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and contribute to team success.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Development and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Chef, Jenkins, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with alerting mechanisms and monitoring tools like Nagios or New Relic.
  • Understanding of API management and Microservices architecture.
