JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as an IT Manager overseeing Transportation Management Systems, where you'll lead the implementation and support of cutting-edge logistics technology to enhance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment and integration of the Transportation Management System, ensuring seamless implementation from design to go-live.
  • Manage application support for transportation solutions, including incident management and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to optimize system performance and enhancements.
  • Drive communication and updates regarding incidents and system status with IT and Supply Chain leadership.
  • Oversee onshore and offshore teams, ensuring effective application support and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategies to scale operations during peak seasons and integrate industry best practices.

Skills

  • Proven technical leadership in supply chain technology, specifically with Transportation Management Systems.
  • Experience in managing full lifecycle projects, from requirements gathering through to ongoing enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of TMS integration with enterprise systems like WMS, ERP, and freight payment tools.
  • Excellent SQL development abilities for complex queries.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and managing teams across geographies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in logistics technology organizations or consulting roles.
  • Background in IT management roles with a focus on supply chain applications.
  • Proficiency in implementing and supporting various TMS platforms such as E2open, Oracle, or Manhattan.
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
