Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines for various data types.
- Transform, clean, and enrich data for machine learning and AI model training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data requirements with business goals.
- Enhance data quality, observability, and lineage tracking for sustainability data assets.
- Optimize performance and scalability using AWS technologies such as S3, Glue, and Lambda.
- Support machine learning workflows through reproducible data ingestion and feature engineering.
Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Machine Learning Data Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with data pipeline frameworks like Apache Airflow, Spark, or AWS Glue.
- High-level understanding of common machine learning and AI techniques.
- Knowledge of data quality, observability, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS services or other cloud service providers for data processing and analytics.
Preferred Skills
- Experience preparing datasets for machine learning or AI models.
- Familiarity with geospatial, environmental, or sustainability datasets.
- Demonstrated passion for AI, sustainability, or environmental impact work.
