JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by translating complex security challenges into actionable risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments across systems, applications, and vendors to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain and enhance the enterprise risk register while monitoring remediation progress and implementing effective risk treatment plans.
  • Lead or support the delivery of cybersecurity risk-related projects, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and deliverables.
  • Apply and maintain alignment with industry-leading frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and COBIT.
  • Generate clear, data-driven reports and dashboards to communicate risk exposure and trends to both technical and business audiences.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units to embed risk management practices into operations and projects.
  • Stay informed on emerging threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to enhance the organization’s security posture.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity risk management, risk analysis, or compliance within a corporate or regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, network security, cloud environments, and data protection.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on execution and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to drive initiatives independently with a strong ownership mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment tools, GRC platforms, and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and risk considerations, particularly with public cloud providers.
  • Understanding of the cyber risk implications related to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
