Responsibilities
- Implement reliability practices using software solutions for cloud foundational products.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance the stability and reliability of cloud platforms.
- Lead efforts to establish and monitor service level indicators and objectives in collaboration with product teams.
- Utilize observability tools to monitor cloud network components and respond to incidents effectively.
- Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to manage cloud resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote site reliability culture and practices.
Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software development life cycle.
- 3+ years of experience in observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Proficient in cloud networking, including routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong knowledge of AWS environments and cloud services.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or GoLang.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Experience with observability tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- AWS Certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Understanding of secure coding standards and practices in a banking environment.
