Responsibilities

• Lead the development of user interfaces to ensure a cohesive and polished user experience across applications.
• Create web UIs with a strong emphasis on best practices, focusing on layout, interactions, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate UI components with backend systems and data sources.
• Transform Figma prototypes into functional UI code while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Work closely with UX designers to influence design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to and utilize the in-house design system for UI components and patterns.
• Refactor and enhance existing user interfaces for optimal performance.

Skills

• At least five years of experience in UI development or as a hybrid designer/developer.
• Expertise in CSS, including flexbox, grid layout, and advanced CSS techniques.
• Proficiency in HTML, with a strong understanding of semantics and accessibility.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks, particularly Angular 2+ with TypeScript and JavaScript ES6.
• Familiarity with Git, NPM, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles and their application in development.
• Ability to think creatively and technically, bridging the gap between design and development.
