JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in a forward-thinking team? Join us as a Business Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and organizing the product backlog for our B2B API team, ensuring seamless data exchange with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Technical Product Owner and the B2B API team to manage and organize the product backlog, including creating detailed user stories.
  • Ensure all stories are complete and meet the definition of ready for the development team.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure technical details are accurately captured in stories and tasks.
  • Facilitate the prioritization of stories, epics, and themes to align with the product strategy and maximize value.
  • Support backlog management and iteration planning throughout the sprint cycle.
  • Engage with stakeholders to explore business needs and define requirements for continuous improvement.

Skills

  • Proficient in project management tools, with a preference for Jira.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Strong skills in creating technical requirements that are actionable for developers.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger, OpenAPI, or Postman.
  • Understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth, API keys, and JWT.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry and working with annuity products.
