Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality code features and system components as part of a cross-functional team.
- Engage in all aspects of software development and delivery, ensuring quality and performance.
- Participate in production support situations and contribute to internal libraries and tools.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and team members to mitigate risks.
- Continuously improve knowledge and understanding of core concepts in software engineering.
Skills
- Proficiency in a JVM-based language such as Java, Groovy, Scala, Kotlin, or Clojure.
- Experience with the Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a pair programming environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in service development (REST, HTTP, JSON).
- Familiarity with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra or Redis.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Proficiency in Linux/bash scripting.
- Experience with open-source software tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React.
