JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a ServiceNow Developer and lead the charge in service mapping initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration and maintenance of critical business applications and infrastructure. This remote opportunity allows you to collaborate with diverse teams and leverage cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage service mapping projects using ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping modules.
  • Design and maintain service maps for essential business applications and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to define service boundaries and dependencies.
  • Deploy and configure MID Servers across various environments, including on-premises and cloud.
  • Enhance and refine Discovery Patterns using scripting and automation for improved accuracy.
  • Diagnose and resolve service mapping issues, ensuring data integrity within the CMDB.
  • Implement traffic-based discovery techniques and maintain service mapping roles and permissions.
  • Document service mapping standards, processes, and develop training materials.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping Modules.
  • Proficiency in managing ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Strong ability to configure and deploy MID Servers across diverse environments.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting service mapping errors and ensuring data integrity.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with traffic-based discovery techniques, including ML connection suggestions and cloud-native tagging.
  • Ability to document and enforce service mapping standards and processes.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation for Discovery Patterns optimization.
