|Job ID 72092|Posted Oct 8, 2025Join our dynamic team as a Grants Coordinator where you'll play a crucial role in managing and executing grant-related tasks with precision and efficiency. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with various departments and contribute to impactful projects in the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities
- Process and approve grant invoices, travel expenses, and payment requests for both federal and private grants.
- Perform adjusting journal entries and manage cost transfers as needed.
- Draft and manage contract agreements for subrecipients and consultants.
- Compile and prepare documentation for subrecipient and consultant checklists.
- Set up fringe benefit and indirect cost rates in the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing Single Audit workpapers and responding to audit requests.
- Act as the main point of contact for grant transaction inquiries from project teams and partners.
- Distribute monthly financial reports to project teams and participate in budget meetings.
- Coordinate meetings with project teams and committees, and undertake additional duties as assigned.
Skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200.
- Experience in grant accounting or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work both independently and collaboratively.
