JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst and take the lead in bridging the gap between business goals and IT solutions. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to align with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate engaging sessions with stakeholders to develop clear and actionable user stories.
  • Lead user acceptance testing to validate solutions and ensure business readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and Scrum Masters, to enhance product development and delivery.
  • Utilize data analysis and SQL querying to support decision-making and solution assessment.
  • Plan and integrate APIs with vendor systems for seamless functionality.
  • Participate in backlog prioritization and sprint planning to ensure efficient workflow management.
  • Monitor vendor performance and manage service level agreements to maintain high standards.

Skills

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency with agile frameworks, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with a focus on leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate across teams.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and system architecture.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the life insurance sector, enhancing domain-specific insights.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor other analysts, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills to drive effective meetings and workshops.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting to support business readiness.
  • Business Analyst certification such as CBAP or BABOK is a plus.
