JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance software applications using a variety of programming languages.
  • Design and implement serverless architecture patterns and APIs to boost performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and deployment.
  • Engage in Agile development activities, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software craftsmanship.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring security and compliance standards are met.

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, or R.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and Cloud Formation.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud computing concepts.
  • Ability to write and design unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Circle CI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with OpenShift and building applications within the airline industry.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools and practices.
  • Hands-on experience creating test reports from automation test runs.
  • AWS Certification and experience in DevOps practices.
