JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Sr. Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to develop innovative orchestration capabilities within a unified developer platform, enabling seamless cloud services integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement orchestration components using preferred tooling and development practices.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve system issues and improve performance.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend adjustments to enhance efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor team members in best practices for software and infrastructure development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Conduct security reviews and approve the planning of security measures.

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Backstage, Typescript, Node.js, Express, and Lambda.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud and platform engineering, along with API development.
  • Experience in leading teams and projects within a technology-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
