Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of applications supporting operations.
- Recommend and implement improvements to development methodologies and environments.
- Engage in complex programming tasks using RPG.
- Design and support multi-platform systems to enhance productivity and reusability.
- Translate business models into detailed system specifications and assist in creating test plans.
- Analyze job requests for feasibility and system impact.
- Execute assignments aligned with business strategies and initiatives.
Skills
- Extensive experience in RPG/400, RPG-ILE, and RPG Free programming.
- Strong understanding of CL programming and IBM DB2/SQL.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to direct other developers.
- Project management experience across the full lifecycle.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Aldon Change Management tool.
- Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client (Eclipse).
- Comfortable working in a Windows desktop environment.
