We are seeking a talented and innovative individual to join our team as an Associate Manager in Fabric Research and Development. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with design teams and contribute to the development of high-quality fabrics that align with our brand's vision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams to identify seasonal direction and innovative fabric qualities.
• Maintain and organize the fabric and wash library while overseeing ongoing development.
• Partner with production and mill management for effective sourcing direction.
• Facilitate testing of fabrics to ensure product integrity and safety.
• Conduct continual research and development to bring fresh ideas to the design table each season.
• Assist in reviewing price/value targets for basic programs in alignment with production teams.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication abilities to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Expertise in raw materials and understanding of production processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the apparel industry.
• Proven management skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in building vendor relationships and understanding testing protocols.
