JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our innovative team as a Backend Engineer, where you'll utilize your expertise to design and build scalable systems that enhance our product's success. This role is perfect for someone passionate about clean code and system reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop backend systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing activities to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve operational challenges.
  • Apply software engineering patterns to create scalable solutions.
  • Incorporate data quality protocols throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Participate in on-call support to maintain product availability 24/7.

Skills

  • Over 5 years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with frameworks like Micronaut or Spring Boot.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and a solid understanding of Apache Kafka.
  • Proficient in test-driven development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of noSQL databases and advanced architectural patterns.
  • Experience with machine learning models and intelligent systems integration.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and Agile methodologies.
