JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our innovative team as a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge applications. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, driving forward-thinking testing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and sustain automated testing frameworks for diverse applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement quality strategies throughout the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive API, UI, and regression testing to ensure product reliability.
  • Lead automation initiatives and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment processes.
  • Evaluate and implement new testing technologies to optimize testing methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to influence product and engineering decisions.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in test automation with strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, and Python.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture and principles of testability.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks like Selenium and REST Assured.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies, such as Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and container orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of non-functional testing, including performance and security testing.
  • Background in the travel industry or related fields is advantageous.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in distributed teams.
