|Job ID 71879|Posted Oct 1, 2025We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic environments while providing essential technical support to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain AGV systems as directed, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Travel to customer sites to address technical issues and perform system repairs, often on short notice.
- Execute electromechanical installations and troubleshoot hardware components to maximize system efficiency.
- Configure and update software for AGV systems, ensuring all parts function correctly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and service tickets using the designated ticketing system.
- Analyze system performance data to identify and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Provide technical guidance to customers on maintaining and operating AGV systems.
- Actively participate in safety and quality programs to uphold the highest standards in service.
Skills
- Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science disciplines.
- 2-3 years of experience in service or maintenance engineering with a focus on electromechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with wiring and the use of hand tools.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with automation systems, including software tools for diagnostics and configuration.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and knowledge of Windows OS.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
