JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Summary
We need a team member with a shipping/logistics background to support our JWO RFID program. The role involves coordinating end-to-end shipments (domestic and international), ensuring timely delivery, and managing documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Book domestic and international shipments through internal teams or external carriers during urgent needs.
  • Manage customs clearance by preparing accurate documentation and coordinating with brokers.
  • Oversee physical shipment and receipt of lanes from Amazon buildings (SEA55, SEA89, SEA71), ensuring timely pick-up and delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders (primarily our POC contact in engineering) to align on deadlines, lane requirements, and shipment schedules.
  • Verify and maintain shipping paperwork to avoid last-minute delays or compliance issues.
  • Coordinate with building management teams to ensure all entry/acceptance requirements are met.
Day-to-Day Workflow
  • Engage with multiple vendors (carriers, drivers) daily to schedule and confirm shipments.
  • Raise shipment tickets, obtain quotes, negotiate costs, and raise POs as required.
  • Be present onsite at pick-up/delivery locations as needed. (Key requirement)
  • Track shipments weekly until final delivery confirmation.
  • Collaborate with internal shipment teams, carriers, warehouse staff, and building management for seamless execution.
Time Commitment
This role requires flexibility. Shipments on somedays will involve early morning (e.g., 6:00 AM) or late-night (e.g., 11:00 PM) involvement depending on urgent needs or last-minute issues (e.g., PGA store shipment).

This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
