JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical data engineering projects that drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with ETL architects to understand requirements and business processes for data transformation.
  • Assist in the architecture of ETL designs and provide input on implementation and automation.
  • Investigate data quality issues within ETL pipelines and propose solutions.
  • Design and develop ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
  • Optimize data movement processes and ensure efficient data handling.
  • Conduct testing of ETL systems and perform root cause analysis on production issues.
  • Document implementations and build deployment documents for CI/CD processes.

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in creating pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong background in ETL development using tools like Informatica PowerCenter or SSIS.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
  • Ability to create stored procedures with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or SVN.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with batch or PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting for data processing.
  • Data modeling experience in a data warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards.
  • Azure certifications related to data engineering or analytics.
