JOB DESCRIPTION

Join us as a Sr Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Capital Delivery Team, focusing on GIS-related capital projects and enhancements. This position bridges the gap between business stakeholders and developers, translating business needs into actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Document and analyze functional and non-functional requirements to drive project success.
  • Conduct thorough research and create detailed user stories for enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with product owners to assess and prioritize incoming requests effectively.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are clear and complete.
  • Support ULC governance processes and coordinate quality assurance efforts.
  • Contribute to projects like GIS mapping enhancements and other software initiatives.

Skills

  • Experience in a large, matrixed corporate environment, with a preference for utility and GIS experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Excel.
  • Comfortable working in agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong time management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in GIS-related projects or enhancements.
  • Familiarity with operations software initiatives.
