JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Data Governance Analyst and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our data governance framework. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with data-driven technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce data governance and audit processes to uphold data standards and privacy policies.
  • Develop and maintain metadata management and data catalog systems for a unified source of truth.
  • Collaborate on monitoring tools to evaluate the effectiveness of data governance programs and compliance.
  • Support and educate stakeholders on data literacy and governance tools.
  • Work closely with Data Quality and Platform teams to ensure data reliability and compliance.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a strong preference for technical disciplines.
  • Over three years of experience in data-centric industries, with a focus on media, entertainment, or subscription services.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data technologies, database systems, and data warehousing.
  • Strong communication skills to convey data issues and governance concepts effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to challenges.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Git, Github Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Typescript, Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Tableau, and Salesforce products.
