Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to conduct inspections and tests for internal and external clients, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine testing procedures and equipment requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment, comparing results against acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and assist in their development.
• Engage in problem-solving and assist in the development and modification of procedures.
• Support health and safety initiatives and participate in related improvement projects.

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of NDT experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Certification in Texas State Industrial Radiographer or ASNT IRRSP.
• Competency in digital and computerized radiographic techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in ASNT-SNT- TC1A methods such as UT & MT.
• Certified Weld Inspector Status (CWI) and extensive training in DR.
• ACCP Level II or ASNT Level III in methods like UT, MT, PT, RT, VT.
