We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join our team, responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality apparel while collaborating closely with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design process, ensuring garments meet fit specifications and quality standards.
• Analyze and evaluate garments to develop accurate fit specifications.
• Communicate fit requirements to vendors and factories for approvals and corrections.
• Make necessary adjustments with factories to uphold design integrity and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design intent and fit standards.
• Document technical specifications and fit comments for future reference.
• Support the development of prototypes while monitoring quality and pricing targets.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience in technical design.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical design, particularly with intimates/apparel.
• Strong understanding of fit, comfort, and quality standards in garment construction.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey fit requirements and adjustments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with detailed fit comments and technical packs.
• Background in retail, fashion, or eCommerce sectors.
• Familiarity with community service or volunteer work in the fashion industry.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to new ways of working.
