JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a critical part in enhancing our deployment processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and maintain existing build and deployment processes across various products.
  • Collaborate with application developers, QA engineers, and product owners to establish engineering and deployment best practices.
  • Implement and uphold security measures in line with organizational policies.
  • Design and deploy application components and infrastructure.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
  • Participate in engineering design and deployment planning sessions.
  • Coach developers on techniques for building scalable applications.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and deployment using Helm Charts.
  • Proficient in GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD and Flux.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies and source control technologies like GitLab.
  • Knowledgeable in Ansible Automation and general automation technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies, including image building.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Advanced understanding of networking, security, and automated deployments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work across multiple platforms and understand dependencies.
