JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on developing innovative and brand-right prints for our emerging categories. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to exciting projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and style color and print stories that align with seasonal concepts and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with design and raw materials teams to create prints and novelty materials that enhance product offerings.
  • Utilize software tools to create and maintain print presentation boards and charts.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on color and print trends relevant to the market.
  • Manage the print development process, ensuring timely communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a collaborative environment.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Textile Design or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in color and print design within a retail context, preferably in swim or accessories.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional color and print sensibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with fabric printing techniques and repeat layouts.
  • Experience with NedGraphics or similar software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
